She's looking beautiful Jess. I really like the angled pics showing detail - sometimes looking at the square on photo doesn't show the dimensions as well. Can I ask a favour? When you have finished and sent it off can you do a blog post showing close up of dissections and their classifications? We need more education on this ...
Thank you Vicki, you are such a sweetie. I don't think I would have kept on this course if it weren't for you! I certainly can do a post with dissections. I'll do my best. In April I can give you all a demo if you want? It's all about drawing what you see, but also knowing what to look out for with certain plant families. Lol, maybe I should ask Pam if they want me doing the dissection's table at the year 8 seminar?!!!
I did teach in Edinburgh - dissections that is. That could play in my court?!
IDEA! I could do a video and load that up for you all. Much easier...
There's a dissection table at the seminar? Yay!! Gosh who would have thought I would every be excited about cutting up a plant. Most information is directed as though you know an awful lot already about the subject. Video would be sensational!! And there would be a lot of students who would benefit - even with the basics. I just realised it's only six weeks until I leave for London ... have to finish my turnips now!!
Hi Vicki, I have emailed you back. Sadly I don't there is a dissection table at the seminar. There didn't seem to be one when I was there last year. I will load some videos up on my blog, but if course 8 really want teaching on dissections you all could request my presence/someone else's to help you on the seminar day.
Aha, will you be at the seminar? Just replied to Vicki that I will be there too. Although i have already been to the course 7 day, I have been invited again, to refresh my brain. It would be great to see you and Vicki.Polly is certainly getting that 3D 'pop' from the page. Lovely work Jess x
