    1. Thanks Shevaun! It's really weird as I have just logged onto my mum's laptop and it looks really yellow on her screen, but in reality it is much bluer. Glad you like it.

    I hope they give you a big bonus for this one. I'm sure all your fellow artists would agree you've landed on the professional scene. Its a conundrum to me, but evidence of your skill that a 'water colour', can capture the reflections, texture and waxy nature of the cuticle.

    Back to teaching emulsions !!

    1. Thanks Chris for your kind words. Just got to take Russell to the UK now and deliver him safely to his new owner. Slightly worried about this bit. I was going to get a courier, but tickets were on sale with Monarch Air and I was hooked in so to speak. Anyway, really glad you like it. This picture wasn't taken at the end oddly enough, so the finished painting is a little different. Rather like the mystery.
